What To Expect

At Esthetic Dental care, you will receive comprehensive care. Our exams are extremely thorough and Dr. Raj meets one-on-one with each patient to discuss their dental and medical history as well as their concerns and goals. Our exam includes a physical examination of the entire oral cavity including:

• Diagnostic x-rays • Oral cancer screening • Periodontal screening (for gum disease) • Dental caries (cavities) screening • Examination of the temporomandibular joints (TMJ) and jaw position • Occlusal (bite) analysis • Digital imaging for analysis, diagnosis, and treatment planning • Mounted models for analysis and treatment planning

This intricate process allows us to pinpoint the problems that are leading to cosmetic or functional concerns. In fixing the root of the problem, we can ensure the long term health and optimal results for the patient.

Through 2-D and 3-D modeling, Dr. Raj can simulate the proposed results and test their function. This allows for a higher level of communication and understanding between the dentist and the patient.

Dr. Raj will develop an individualized plan to prevent and treat dental problems. This could include a combination of procedures to achieve the desired outcome.

Pain Free Dentistry

Many people are afraid to visit the dentist because of past experiences or a fear of pain. Dr. Raj has undergone advanced training to learn the latest techniques and incorporated state-of-the-art technology to provide a comfortable and virtually pain free environment for his patients.

One piece of technology that he uses is called The Wand, a computer-controlled anesthesia. The Wand delivers a very slow, controlled dose of anesthetic to the gum to completely and painlessly numb the area. The device looks like a ball-point pen, putting patients who are uncomfortable around needles at ease.
